Matcha tea powder is a very healthy ingredient to add to anything and everything. It has more antioxidants than any other type of tea and is full or minerals and vitamins. It increases energy, concentration levels, and memory. It boosts the metabolism, helps burn fat, and suppresses the appetite, so it is a great weight loss and weight management tool for the body. It has kept people in Japan and China healthy for centuries, and is available just about everywhere. It can be found in grocery stores, pharmacies, specialty stores, gift stores, department stores, and online.

The most common way people get matcha tea is drinking tea. The purest grade of it, in fact, is the ceremonial grade used for tea ceremonies. It is traditionally blended into boiling water with a bamboo whisk because it does not easily dissolve in water. There are also drinking and culinary grades of the tea. Green tea is great for people who enjoy tea, but that does not include everyone. Fortunately, there are several ways to increase matcha tea intake that do not involve a cup of hot tea. Increasing the intake will benefit every member of the family. They will be healthier, more focused, have more energy, and be able to maintain a healthy weight. Drinking grade matcha does dissolve well in water and other liquids, so a matcha latte, smoothie, shake, and flavored coffee can be an alternative to the hot tea. People can drink the beverage of their choice, hot or cold, and still get more matcha.

The culinary grade can be added to many dishes and recipes. It is used in cooking, baking, sauces, dips, and herb blends. Add some matcha powder into those cupcakes and the kids will never know they are ingesting something healthy. Add some matcha tea powder into the salsa, the onion dip, or even the seasoning for the popcorn, and no one will be the wiser. It does not take a lot of it to gain the health benefits. A couple of tablespoons into a dish is enough to increase the antioxidants and vitamins. There are several cookbooks available and recipes online to give people ideas.
